Hey! I just got a pair of Filtek/BFE MK3a EQ’s… they were already racked up and had a power connection for a 24V wall wart. The EQ sounds incredible… however there is a very noticeable 60hz buzz…. If I take an alligator clip and connect the unit D7C7CB4C-AC3C-46F8-9CFD-CB8B1E7DDCD5.jpegto a screw in a rack rails etc the tone stops completely… so there is clearly a basic grounding issue. I’m a producer/mixer and although I’m pretty knowledgeable and can sort most issues and solder well I am not a tech :)

How do I go about grounding this internally within its own rack? without having to ground it to something externally like a rack rail etc. I’m sure there’s a very basic answer to this…

Photos and the only schematics I could find attached here.

Thanks!
