i just built a couple DI's based on the hampton jfp gain stage with a jensen jt123 on the output. it's sounding really nice and working fine, I am just curious about the grounding and lift switch.

i am powering it with a 30v dc wallwart, inside the DI is a 7824 regulator based psu. i have its ground connected to the dc power socket. i have the ground of the audio circuit connected at the power socket as well. i currently have the output from the jensen running to pins 2 and 3 with nothing connected to pin 1.

the DI is working fine and i havent had any problems with ground buzz, but ive only used it in one place. do i need to add in a ground lift switch? is there anything wrong with my current grounding scheme?

is anyone able to clarify this for me? thanks!
