Hi folks, my name is Chris (songguy). I was lucky enough to build my outboard studio gear from the knowledge shared here on GroupDIY a few years ago. The gear I built was used only by me in the studio. It gave me amazing sound and some decent royalties. I’ve recently retired from composing and now focus on playing music for myself to enjoy. Needless to say the outboard gear is ready to be passed on to a new recording loacation. (USA shipping only). Make a reasonable offer and well can discuss via DM. I’m first selling the 1176 models 1176LN must have for DI bass guitar tracking and 1176AB. Both are made using hairball audio kits, mnats boards and no expense spared on components. Also had a bit of silk screening fun on the front

Can you tell me about the build on the clx 160’s? Maybe some pictures of the insides? How do they compare to a pair of real dbx 160’s? I might be interested when you get to them.

Check out this link. Abe Chapman was very helpful when I was building this unit. I sent the completed unit to Abe to calibrate.
