H0w do you check out a guitar amp choke?

Like the title said. I think this choke is bad, but how do I know for sure?

check dc resistance.
unsolder 1 wire.
blind guess, 56 to 375 ohms

one last shot, and what do you have to lose, anyway?
open it up. see what you can see.
maybe a busted lead.
maybe not.
but chokes are cheap.
heat it up.
find same ga wire.
wind it up and tune in, blaze a j, plug it in.
rock out.
cops dig it!

Since we are talking chokes,can you determine the henrys of a choke with the dcr measurement?

How can you convert dcr into henry's?
I'm trying to reverse E a unit but I have no idea what the coils and choke are rated in henry's.
Any suggestions?

get on ebay, scout "UTC Transformers", look at the chokes, look at their henries, look at their dcr, plot results on paper, see if you get a straght line
