I have 4 of them and am wondering if anyone has used these in projects?
They look well made  frequency response 50 Hz. to 15 Khz looks a little narrow. I have heard that hammond can be conservative in their ratings.

812 Line or 150 ohm MIC to 1 or 2 Grids *125/500 (150/600)  10K/40K (12K/48K)

Deep-drawn steel case with tin plated finish, with two convenient 6-32 mounting studs with hardware.
Hermetically sealed for stable characteristics and long life. Header has nine 0.22" long solder pins.
Frequency response +/- 0.5 db max. from 50 Hz. to 15 Khz.
Insertion loss of apx. 1 db.
Maximum power level +15 dbm. (except 841, 842 & 844 which are +20 dbm) with specified characteristics, or higher levels with reduced low frequency performance.
Electrostatic shield between pri. & sec. connected to terminal 9.
Humbucking construction
Balanced split windings on pri. & sec. for circuit versatility. Primary may be used as a secondary and vice versa for impedance matching.
Overall dimensions 1.75" (44.5 mm) wide x 1.25" (31.8 mm) deep x 2.56" (65 mm) high max.

All the pieces I have from that series measure more like the next series up (850?), none as 'poor' as the spec.

+/-0.5dB is hardly "narrow bandwidth".

If we assume it is +0/-1dB 50Hz-15KHz, and both corners are first-order, the -3dB points fall at 25Hz and 30KHz.

If the low-end is limited by a power spec, then the small-signal bass is surely much better than 25hz.

If you need wider, you may be lusting for transformerless input.
