My first love is mechanics and I have a small lathe, milling machine and a pantograph. So, first, I will probably build a chassis for the LA-2A that I'm craving at the moment (hope the cravings don't subside). Recently I've been bitten by an electronic bug too and I've been studying some LA-2A circuits.
I arrived at the contemplation of building my own audio compressor after wanting a decent one for my own vocals and not being overjoyed with the dough that I would have to fork out for a half decent one. (I'm a bit of a lyricist and a singer too) a nice collaboration on Kompoz.com (hope it's okay to post that link here).
Hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew here, hehe.
