Hello. I'm new here, and thank you for reading this. I've been retired for several years, currently living in the USA state of FLorida. I repair audio equipment and amateur radio equipment, licensed as a 'ham' since 1962. I'm also a "news junkie" regularly monitoring international affairs and flair ups, being quite busy with that since February 2022. I have referred to the GroupsDIY site several times in the past and have obtained unusually helpful suggestions and notes, and so, I do hope to be able to contribute a bit of my own in the weeks ahead. I passed the UK radio amateurs exam in 1967 but in those days without passing the morse test you were limited to 70cm and above. And that was beyond the constructional capabilities and pocket of 16 year old me. So I never got a licence. These days they seem to give them away.
