Just joined to see the full Rode NT3 mod thread (freq response curve). I record classical music on location, and may need some self-powered mics for use with wireless transmitters to record organs in a couple of churches this spring (long story). Got some used NT3s for their 20-20k response, but prefer flat. (I'd use a couple of my MKH8020s if external phantom weren't such a hassle.) I'll shotgun the electrolytics, of course, and may as well flatten things out while I'm inside.
