I'm Gregg. I'm a freelance audio engineer out of Los Angeles.
Recently my old passion for microphones has resurfaced and I have finally ventured into acquiring rare and/or vintage mics that pique my interests.

Unfortunately, my first two at-bats have resulted in foul balls and I have many questions.

I'm not sure whether or not I want to get into DIY but I want to have a more detailed understanding of microphones, and usually, how it goes with my obsessions is that I can't just be a fan; I have to do it as well...which is what led me to become a musician and engineer in the first place.
