Hey there, I'm currently recapping my home hi-fi amplifier, an old Sony from the mid 80s and I've noticed that the feet/legs of the large electrolytic capacitors (63v 10,000uF) I ordered are not a direct replacement for the ones originally installed. The originals are at 90 degrees to one another and the modern equivalents I can find are either parallel or in-line. Bending the feet/legs of these has proven unsuccessful (i.e. snapped off) as the lead spacing on the modern ones is narrower than the originals. Have supplied a picture to illustrate.
Help needed identifying feet on 63V capacitor. Can't find modern equivalent.

If the old caps are trash, you can take them apart and solder new caps to the bases of the old ones. This will not be mechanically the same, but the electrons should not know the difference.
