Hi guys.
I have a TAC Scorpion 1 with a lot of dead Vu meters. I need upgrade and restore it.
I asked to AML and GRS for the upgrade kit, but all firms don't build the item or is discontinued.
I wonder if is posible use a other Vumeter or a new Vu buffer pcb in kit (Diy-tubes, JLM...)
The old component is a Telefunken TFK D634P Led Bargraph.
I found the schematics of TFK D634P.

Thanks for all.

Best regards.

IMO, your only option is to build a replacement VU-meter which will fit or ask someone to build it for you. It should'n  be so big chalenge, LM3916 or BA682 (better solution) can be used as VU-drivers. Whole VU meter will cost you about 10-30€/pcs, depending of quantity you need.

Can be used this project?
