Help with NYD Reamp Box Parts List

Hi all - I'd like to implement the reamp design by NewYorkDave found in this thread. I've only put together one other pedal before (a fuzz box from a GGC kit), but feel confident I'll be able to build this box once I have all the parts in front of me. Trying to choose among the countless variations of components on mouser, however, I can't help but feel overwhelmed and am hoping that someone could confirm that I'm not wasting any money/time by purchasing an incorrect part.

Here's what my tentative parts list:
T1: Edcor Transformer 10KΩ to 150Ω (this one was easy!)
R1: 200Ω resistor (Mouser part: 299-200-RC)
VR1: 1K log pot (Mouser part: 652-PTV09A-2020UA102)
VR1: 50K linear pot (Mouser #: 688-RK09K1130A5R)
J1: Female XLR jack (Mouser #: 568-NC3FBV-1)
J2: 1/4'' jack (I have one of these lying around)
SW1 & SW2: Mouser #: 108-1MS1T1B1M2QE-EVX
Knobs (x2): Mouser #: 45KN016-GRX
+ 1 pretty box: Hammond 1590BLG

I feel like it will probably all work, but am not if: certain components need to have plastic casing for grounding or if the knobs will fit my pots or if I somehow bought oversized pots or the XLR jack I got is totally wrong for some reason. Basically I just have no confidence
