Ya that jay mill  explosion on the news.  Hell of an explosion.  Unreal dash cam video.  And they said no one was hurt.

The reason for the toilet paper shortage is that the supply chain for commercial and residential toilet paper is totally separate. No one is at work, airports, sporting events. There is a large glut of commercial toilet paper.

The amount of toilet paper used is fairly constant. The industry operates at capacity under normal circumstances. Since this is a temporary situation no one wants to invest in ramped up production.

Interesting angle... if people are not pooping at work these days, that will increase the pooping at home, which is getting wiped with different consumer TP... In fact this could explain an actual shortage in consumer TP since they are manufactured on different production machines.

I saw an interview with a reporter who looked into it. I checked Uline and WB Mason. No problem ordering toilet paper from either.
