Me and probably many other Tape heads were thinking about a thing like this.
But he...... just did it!

Laurie Anderson did Something like this with her "Tape bow violin" I think she even have a description on how it works in the 1979 United states Live Box.

Its a Violin with a tape head and tape on the bow as far as i can remember.
