How much gain is possible from Fairchild with no GR?

  just wondering if anyone can give me an approximate indication as to how much gain the signal amp of  Fairchild can yield with no gain reduction?

The 670 manual I have states 7dB (no limiting)
The 660 manual states 16dB, but then someone has handwritten notes to say this is 16-17db (insertion) then added below 12.9-13.9db voltage gain.
