I bought a pair of these SDC mics maybe 20 years ago & they worked fine for a while then stopped working. I'm wondering how to open them up. I think I read in the past that they used araldite on the threads to seal them. I'm going to try some acetone, because I found that worked quite well to release some tiny screws when I was restoring some Nikon camera lenses.
I'm wondering if anyone else has found a solution to this issue ?
