I am looking for recommendations for a connector to carry heater and HT voltages and currents from a power supply to a mixer. Basic requirements are:

1. Voltage up to 300V
2. Current up to 8 amps
3. 6 to 8 pins
4. Circular
5. Crimp termination
6. Not ridiculously expensive

I have been using 6 pin XLRs for lower current applications but soldering them is a royal PITA. For high current applications I have been using Neutirk 8 way speakons but they are not recommended or this type of application.

Cheers

If You'd not ask the circular - I'd advice the Harting connector.
Phoenix connector also does do nice things, but these are a bit expensive...

If a connector meets all the other criteria I will consider a non-circular connector (circular is just easier for hand made prototypes)

Which Harting model did you have in mind?
