Hi!

I'm building my first tube preamp and i'm thinking in use a plate circuit to make easier the tube socket wiring.

Can it cause more hum or noise?

Thanks!

Oh sorry! I don't know the right name in english.

It's the little yellow boards used to assemble components.

In this link there is a photo:

Scroll down untill you see photos. Forget the two firsts. Then there is 3 together photos. I'm making reference to the central photo.

Thanks!

Do you mean Veroboard? The pcb material with copper strips on one side and pre-drilled holes?

In that case, yes, you can use that - but you'll need to be carefull about how you run your grounding if you want to avoid hum. There are no simple rules for that btw.

The little yellow board is commonly called Vero board or proto board. They are used a great deal in DIY circuit building and using them will not cause any more hum in a circuit. You still must follow normal layout precautions as you would with a circuit board. There are even some software programs to help in laying aou parts I think.
