Hey guys,

I need a PCB that can select 1 of 3 inputs via relays and pushbutton lit up switches.  Does anyone know of anything I can use in this situation?  Anything out there that I haven't seen yet?

Thanks so much,
Sig

Seems this one has balanced ins and out (edit: errr, no it's got 4 stereo unbalanced inputs)

But a rotary switch.  How would it be possible to rewire that to accept 3 x eao type pushbutton switches, and input depends on which one is selected?

in case you haven't seen this:

I can't figure out quickly what the 4017 does, but maybe it's what you're looking for?

Looks to be unbalanced as well, no?

I'm starting to think about buying up one of Igors CRM boards and modifiying/hacking that up.  I just need the input stage with pushbuttons, and it's already balanced...

I'm terrible at breadboarding, I should really just sit down and try to figure it all out, I think it'd be good for me!

Any other opinions or ideas much appreciated.

Hmmmm, but then it's only 1 channel being switched with the switch, correct?  Not stereo inputs being switched.  It's a 4 channel unit, meaning 4 unbalanced stereo inputs get switched with the encoder.

it says 4 stereo channel in, 1 stereo out.

That would translate to 4 balanced in, 1 balanced out...

(make stereo L your +hot and R -cold)

That's what I was thinking. Stack 2 boards, get 4 into 1 stereo balanced. My concern are your pushbuttons, I don't know whether the mentioned board has the right logic for that.

I assume the last board I mentioned is for pushbuttons, but I can't figure out whether it's one button which rotates the input or several individual ones. LEDs are onboard so it shouldn't be a problem to enlighten your switches. Unfortunately there is no description...

So, can these switches be made to latch, so that when one is turned on the others turn off?  If so, I wonder how it can be wired into one of those input boards shown above...
