@ Curtis: rotary switch is out of question because the function of the K+H UE 100 is different if you will use it.
the pass band filter section it is done by the combination of two different filter in the signal, one is on the feedback, and one is on the signal path.
example: to obtain a cut or boost at 500 Hz you have to push red button "60Hz" and then black one "2400Hz", in this manner you can have a very large bell ( 4 oct ) with 8db cut/boost possible, but if I pusch black button first "2400Hz", then red one "60Hz", thing is gonna change, and only 4 db cut/boost, will be possible.. this is the peculiarity of this baby, I discover it mesuring one of the 4 unit I own in this moment.
yes I know, There might be a way to do it with latching coil relays and SPDT momentary push buttons, I have found a lot of schematic to do this, http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Bill_Bowden/page9.htm
but they refer only in a single configuration, the problem is to turn off the relay coil previusly pushed, with a different push button. I don't have solution here .. Have you ?
@Rochey:
A lot ; every section got 3, 5 and 6 buttons that drive a 4pole switch each, for a total of 50 button, 54 if you include the 2x 6/12, and 2x 12/24db oct switches. Every section must be individualy managed.
I do not have any experience to work with PIC. how many i need ? Can 16Mzh clock disturb tube Amps ?
thank you
