A report has been issued into 9000 deaths that occured in 14 Irish mother and baby homes over 70 or more years .
It remains to be seen if the report really digs into the underlying motivations for this cruel and inhuman treatment.

Even the dog in the street in this old town knows small babies were routinely burried at the feet of unrelated adults  , theres more stories of babies bodies from the institutions being ferried by bicycle up to the college' in shoe boxes. It all points to an unholy trinity of Church ,State and Big Bussiness using a most vulnerable segment of the population like laboratory guinea pigs both in life and after death . The holy orders who ran these places stand by there figures ,yet are unwilling or unable to provide burial records.

One detail thats emerged was the death toll in one of these institutions in 1945 was 75% of all the children born, questions have to be answered .

I caught a glimpse of a headline in one of the English papers earlier , it was said that two Doctors were shown to have accepted payments from a big pharmaceutical company involved in unethical and unapproved vaccine testing in the mother and baby homes. This all comes after the impartiallity of the judiciary who oversaw the investigation and writing of the report was called into question by survivors of these godforsaken places.

Of course this is only the tip of a very large sh!tberg coming down the pipes. For me it also pulls into sharp focus how the former Prime Minister Leo Varadkar(also an M.D.)and his cronies hatched a plan to get social media companies to remove what they termed 'Vaccine conspiracy theories' back in 2019. Seems obvious to me it was yet another deliberate attempt to keep a lid on a very dark chapter in our history by the people at the top , well it hasnt worked ,now heads must roll.

Religious fervor has always been used to motivate the common foot soldier ,
Profit's always been the back seat driver.

And it's all a big con based on unverifiable promises of an afterlife which is still used today to motivate terrorists.

Cheers

Ian

A conspiracy ideology with an unusually long lifespan.

Both are true- from a point of view. We could equally provide a long list of positive attributes if motivated to do so.

Truth is we don't really know what our collective behavior would look like without religion, and there's nothing to suggest greater peace and understanding would be the outcome-- It's certainly not trending!
Polling across cultures show meaning and happiness to be at an all time low, despite general human welfare being at historic highs. Increasing tribe / anti-tribe radicalization may be proportional to the loss of meaning religion previously provided.

I've read about hardcore Evangelicals who turned hardcore Trumper within 1-2 years. There probably is a subset of people who cannot be without irrational beliefs as their guiding principles and it might be the pragmatic and best approach to channel that in the most benign direction possible. We're not at the point (yet?) where we can ignore or transcend human nature.

No surprise that this story didnt see the light of day in the Irish media , just goes to show vested interests are still being protected.

Its mostly hidden behind a paywall but if someone has access they might copy and paste the full article in here so I can can read it . Another interesting fact thats worth a mention is many of these mother and baby homes where the experiments took place were run by 'The Bon Secours Sisters',  a charity run by nuns who specialise in hospital care , insider information regarding testing of medicines and techniques has allowed this organisation to become a multi billion dollar concern. Also due to the way Irish law was set up in relation to charitable organisations ,the directors are still allowed to operate without any questions or oversight of their activities.

Just in relation to strongly held irrational beliefs , someone close to me , who has basically voulenteered to the above mentioned charity their time  ,still despite me raising the issue for years and the emergence of what has actually been going on in the media ,still refuses to believe vulnerable people were experimented upon and used for financial gain. You could show them any amount of evidence , they will still persists with the comfy illusion they have created for themselves  :-[
