Is EF37A or ME1400 usable in mic circuit ??

Is EF37A or ME1400 usable for a mic circuit that requires a EF86 if we re eire to octal socket ....

On the other hand, if your power supply can handle the increased current demand of the heater, why not just adjust your heater voltage down to 4.5V and use a PF86 in the same 9-pin socket?

Hi Scott thanks for that link very interesting ..... I was think more of making a mic from scratch that calls for a EF86 and adapting as I have a few nos EF37As.
