That's an interesting circuit. It has no fewer than three feedback loops: current feedback at the cathode of V1, voltage feedback from plate to grid of V2, and overall voltage feedback from the plate of V2 to the cathode of V1. The designer broke some rules with the number of R-C time constants in the feedback loop, but obviously the circuit works.
What's the spec on the output transformer?
