We recently changed the signature line for the Brewery to remind people play nice. "Warning: personal attacks prohibited and will be strictly moderated" was added to discourage members from offending each other.
We are now officially in the silly season of political campaigning and some people are forgetting to check their emotions at the door. We don't win hearts and minds with personal insults. In fact there is no reason to ever make personal observations about other forum members even with good intentions.
We only need to deal with the elevated emotional state for a couple more weeks. It is not productive for us to be at each other's throats. Think about who benefits from this disorder? So don't be played.
