Just said I'd make a quick post about repairing the aftertouch on the Prophecy .
Theres a few documented attempts online ,none seemed very sucessfull .
The opperation of the after touch was hit and miss some keys it worked on some didnt .
There is a presure sensitive strip with a rubber foam on top , simply by adding four layers of standard electrical tape on top made everything work great again , a quick test with a multimeter showed values of between 350 and 250 ohms with heavy key presure applied ,after the four layers of tape were added values around 170 ohms with much less presure applied , a good clean and dusting out I also reccomend . Im sure this little fix will work on many similar kinds of keyboard .
