One of my favourite compressors.
When I had a studio in the 80s, I had one of these and put most things through it.
I did a PCB for it a year ago and when I plugged it in, wow that big fat squelchy sound!
Easy to use and sounds good on most things.

LA4s usually get bashed at Gearslutz which helps to keep the prices relatively low compared to other Urei gear.
I have a pair of these, both modded with a chipupgrade. But after a while of using them in this state I´m missing the tone of the original version. I´ll convert at least one back to original state.
