Anyone know where to get some rackmount ears similar to the original?

I've been looking all over. I'm also trying to find a VU meter fairly close to the factory version

TIA

NO and no.

Beede made the original meter. For a while Scenaria was using them, until they decided to wind down that production line. Now they will onlt produce meters of that type with a minimum order of 1,000 pieces, at $US125 each. In order to buy one, you'd have to front a $125,000 group buy. Of course this is possible for volume manufacturers like UA, but not for anybody else.

The "rack ears" were part of the case. You can look and find 3U rack ears if you're lucky, but they would have to work with your box width... good luck with that one.

So -in short- no and no.

Hey Keith,

The rack ears actually bolt onto the chassis, but this probably doesn't help anyways...

Really? -I posted from memory, but with the utter conviction of being correct...

Let me look...

Dammit...

You're right!

-Okay... so my memory completely misled me there. -However, the fact remains that you need the width to match your project case, which may well be a variable number.
