I found a blown inductor on the memory board of my Lexicon Primetime. It measures 3,6kOhm which definitely is too high, hence it is gone. Does anybody know which inductance this thingy should have in this place (L1)? Anyone has a schematic by hand to check this for me or fancy measuring inductance in your Primetime???

here´s a pic:

btw, reason for the blown inductor was a tantalum cap which shortened

thanks :guinness:

I have the full service manual. I can email it to you as a .pdf if you'd like.

By the way, what issue are you having with yours? I seem to have a bit of clock vco leaking into the delay feedback loop. Can't seem to pinpoint the cause...

Hey csonics, I have one that has been sitting on the dead reverb/delay shelf for years. Every chip leg is black. Would you consider sharing your manual? It could be good to get it going, I was getting ready to part it out.
Should be 100uH. Its funny, mine blew for exactly the same reason.
Tantalum caps are horrible. They are one of the most fragile components around and usually fail short-circuit. I'd replace them all with decent low-leakage electros. I've seen several charred and scarred PCB's as a result of a s/c tantalum (many old computer mainframe boards had rows of the things).

Hello folks
I know this is kind of lame for a first post but I could really use a schematic for my PT model 93.
I have been enjoying my 95 and would like to get the pair reunited in my rack.
If anyone would shoot a pdf my way it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

hi folks,
i know this is an old topic but i thought i would still give it a try...
i would really appreciate a prime time schematic/manual from one of you guys if thats possible.
the machine is at my friend's studio and has been acting very weird for quite some time now. i need your help !
thanks

I fixed my PrimeTime up with those Schems..  :-*

Awesome unit. Seriously cool delay, well worth fixing.

I had one unit with a faulty op-amp, and the other with a few busted switches and an intermittent connection with the 5v regulator on the board - all easy fixes.

Good luck

Mike

that link doesn't work !!!!
can i send a PM to someone who has it with my email ?
thanks a lot for your effort
