let's just blog this out real quick,

here is the panel of a Line 6 amp that cuts in and out,

these amps were designed for the player who wants to emulate many different sound setups of his favorite guitarists, ie: somebody working a bar and playing 10 million cover tunes in one night,

they sound alright but it is hard to think of a famous git player, or top 100 album that uses this amp, real pros are using 59 Bassman amps and plexi Marshall's with Mullerd EL34's, but if you are a Guitar Center ******, this is the amp for you!  ;D

here is the power supply board which also has the power transistors,

no wait, those are 3886 chips again!

there are a pair of them, this is a stereo amp, all that DSP hores power needs two speakers to take advantage of things like chorus and delay and vibrato, etc

all that processing power and design work has been wiped out by a power switch with oxidized leads that did not do very well in the wave solder machine,

so we found the problem, simply scrape the leads clean and get some #44 Kester on there,  now the fun part, testing it out for 3 hours,  :D

that's it,

If you can get it to cut-OUT, and never cut-in, problem solved.
