LL1538 broken?

I had some Lundhal transformers several years ago that were damaged when I pulled them from another board, but was able to repair them by re-heating the pin very hot, and pushing it back into its hole.  Then checking for connection, and securing it with a little dab of hi-temp epoxy.  They are still working today.

The 1540 from Sahib arrived yesterday. The cement covering the pin connections doesn't appear to react to heat but it crumbles away quite easily when hot. I used a very small flat screwdriver and chipped away carefully bit by bit to remove the cement. The wire appeared after a minute or so, about 7 or 8mm in length. Then it was just a matter of extending the forty-something AWG wire and soldering it to a new pin. Both windings now read 120Henries.
