Anyone happens to have schematics for the Rocktron RX-20 (RX10, RX2H) and willing to share / upload to the tech section ?

This unit has something like a spatial exciter. Wondering what it does and how it work.

OK, the hush part I take to be downward expansion (or noise gate) centred around an 13600/13700 IC. But that doesn't interest me.

It's the psychoacoustic exciter that piqued my interest. Manual says it acts only above 500 Hz, and it may be dynamic in nature. Hmm. -- Am I wrong in assuming it's just a 'ghetto boom box' effect (i.e. flip phase/polarity and mix into opposite channel) for that wide stereo feel ?

Can't find schematics. But unit is not in production any more, is it?

Just a follow-up with some gear porn of an RX2H.

Still no schematics for any of the series. But need to clean up/clear out a bit.

This one full of Philips caps. A few Elna.
Is stereo and has per channel 2 x LM13600 and 1 x NE572.
The NE572 VCA is a dinosaur by now and is used for compression.
One of the LM13600 is for exciter (a la Aphex), I assume. The other, don't know, 'hush' maybe, just as the product is called, a downward expander. Unit also has a 'phase' control knob per channel.

Same pushbutton caps as on Symetrix 501. Wouldn't attempt to remove them, plastic will likely break.

Hex screws imperial.

Unit didn't need fixing -- just some contact spray for the pots. Maybe I can find some knobs somewhere. Played around with it for 30". Hmm. Synths maybe...

Forgot to mention, annoyingly, the pots seem to identify only by a parts number, not by resistance value visibly printed onto them...
