Topic came up b4 when talking about guitar FX.
I like the unit. check it out here

(correct me when I am wrong)
MY idea is to put it in a rack mount and have blanced i/o as well as the already unbalanced I/O. Like most units of this nature they have enough power to drive a +4 input but are not balanced.

MY buddy suggested just using balanced to unbalanced cables and just plugging into the patchbay. I know this would work but I really would like it in a rack box.

(for the I/O)
I believe I can get away with making a reverse mult on the input and output. Basicly connecting I/O in a Y. I am looking at the best way to unbalnce a balanced I/O so I can go from the console to the AdrenaLinn II for other instruments and use it as an FX. I am thinking trafo's would sonicly be best for this?
I am thinking to use Jensen JT-DB-E as I made a DI with it B4
http://www.jensen-transformers.com/datashts/dbe.pdf
and using it fowards for input and backwards on the outputs. would that be o.k.?
or would a different trafo be better suited for my needs.
(For power)
the unit itself runs off a 9V wall wart but DO not have all the specks as I do not have the unit infront of me at work. but I am thinking to remove the plugfor the wall wart on the PCB solder in my + and - leads and then runnning it out to an IEC connector... Or would I be better taking the wall wart apart and removing the internal power trafo and just mounting that in the box?

comments and suggests?
