If i'm feeding the main out of a (balanced) summing box (whose output Z is around 600R) to an amp (whose input Z is 47K) would it make sense to stick an output transformer (mentioned the monacor cos i got some recent) on each main out in the summin box? The specs on the datasheet say:

Optimum Source Imp. . . . . . . . 50-600 Ω
Optimum Load Impedance . . . . ≥ 5 kΩ

...but I cant find any hookup info on how to wire these fellas (first diy'age with any iron ;p)

Any one used these monacors then?

Thanks

hey K, ye i grabbed that pdf already - but I'm unsure what I should wire to what pin etc - theres 8 pins total with 4 on either side...like i said I never used any iron before so I dunno what goes to what!

if it;s the same model as Kruz's link, connect your summing box output plus to pin 1, output neg to pin 3.
output to the amp:
pin 6 plus out, pin 8 neg out.
