Lundahl LL7101, not much info about this one on site

LL7101.
There is not much info to be found on the Lundhal website about this trafo.
Can I use it as mic input ?; DI input, or to spice up my Ribbon mic ?

Also, for more info on various Lundahl trasformers check this website than klick on "Transformatoren" in the list on the left...

In a general word NO.
You must use that transformer in the exact circuit that it was designed.
It is a zero field transformer and it needs an op-amp to cancel out the fields so the core will not saturate.
There was an appnote from Analog devices but I cannot find it now.

I would say it is not like all the other transformers and I
would stay away.

indeed... i'm lurking to some Telefunkens, are these worth the typical Felekunten pres that seem to be prased into the highest sky by the telefunken adepts? :roll:

In that case I might be client for some of the trannies Dré offered... :wink:

The only Telefunkens worth to grap are : V72, V76 tube.
V676, V672, V276, V372 discrete. And even then be carefull you don't get the ANT types. These have nothing to do with the real stuff.

I just recieved my new Lundahl Transformer catalog last Saurday. Second Edition. It is soooo much nicer than looking stuff up on the internet. All the pinouts are right there...

I put my name on the list at the AES show.

Ask Per for a catalog. Then you are set for life.

Well, at least until they come out with some new amorphous thingy that blows smoke rings around the 1538XL.
