adjusted schematic,
instead of voltage divider resistors, we used the emitter resistor/cap to to reduce gain, a 10 K resistor instead of 47 adds degen,
stock circuit had too much gain for marshal preamp output, plus noise went down with reduced gain,
global feedback line omitted with no discernable consequences
1 K power feed instead of 560 reduced noise and heat to TIP 30
resistor box used to dial in gain, ac and dc voltages shown>
