  Discussing mp3 quality yet accepting that for measly voice quality ?
should invest in a real telephone hybrid and ask subject not to use cell phone.
I found it a little annoying to listen to , though he did speak & come across well
& have good points.  whatever it plays back on was hard to accurately [ finely ] zip ahead
anyway to do that ? or open it with something else ?

Touché. We initially had him scheduled for an in studio interview, but we had to do it via phone at the last minute. Due to scheduling, it was the only way to make it happen.
