Has any one ever used or heard audio thru motorola MC3400x op-amps?
They are supposed to be drop in replacements for TL07x series. They have the same slew rate and current draw. Which would sound better in an old desk that I am rebuilding?? I have a drawer of each so I could use either. I am using 553x as line drivers and summing amps replacing the orginal TL071s. I have to keep the total current draw on the PSU as low as possible as I am using the orginal PSU recapped. TL07x or MC3400x series will fit the current draw situation nicely.
Any thoughts??
