Measuring distortion with a soundcard and software

One concern is that the first post was naive with respect to signal level being applied to a soundcard and whether a level is appropriate (ie. sweet spot or not).
 
Very interesting! How large is it? Is it only for noise measurements or do you also have a sound source to characterize the microphone response?
The length and width of the cabinet are approximately 50 inches and the height is 60 inches. The sound source uses a 4-inch coaxial speaker and artificial mouth. It is not recommended to use a larger size sound source as a test microphone, the frequency response of the sound source can be calibrate,I share my box, CRY 7415,They are very useful, but weighing over 1,000 pounds, they are a challenge to get to their designated locations.
