They call them "Metal Glaze" tm

SHORT question:
What do you think "metal glaze" is ?? is it just another term for metal oxide, or...??

LONG question:
I'm looking for "really good" or "the best" 3-5watt resistor for the output of a line driver/preamp/headphone amp.
It follows a buffer, and the buffer's datasheet recommends 150 ohm @ 3-5 watt (as this buffer has no output protection).
I need a quantity, about 200.
I'd like this resistor to have little colouring of the sound, perhaps allowing as much upper frequency pass through, unobstructed, if I had a choice of a typical characteristic.
I will build two identical line amps, and use my A/B switcher, to listen between various resistors.

It's the wattage that limits my choices. I've tried some Vishay...

...but those are 'spensive !!
I am willing to spend up to $1 a piece.

Any recommendations ??

Just says what they are, not how good or bad (no mention of trademark in the ref, interestingly).

Thanks for looking, bcarso.

I found some Mills 5w wirewound non-inductive type at Percy for around $2 ea.
I may have to spend the day at Apex surplus, hunting for a candidate.

BTW, I've come up with a new name for Apex ....
"Apex Electronic Gardens"

They are my go-to resistors FWIW. I mostly use them in guitar amps though. They are decently quiet and a bit warm. However, I don't geek-out over resistors, so take that with a grain of salt.
