Hi guys. Meyer makes a five band per channel full parametric equalizer with plugin boards.

I have a line on one used for $400 and I really don't think I should pass it up. The pots are all on screwdriver trims (which is ideal for my purposes). The circuitry is reportedly very nice. Each band is on a plugin card (nice). But I want to use it as a subwoofer equalizer (in stereo, two subs) and the only two bands that are relevant are 20-200 and 60-600. Meyer will not issue schematics. I can follow a parametric schematic (barely) but not well enough to mod it without some help and you guys have been terrific. What do you think the chances are that it can be modified for each band to cover 20-200? Worst come to worse, if I cite some values and compare the components here on Prodigy do you think we can psyche it out enough to mod it without an official schematic? I'm betting each board has the same PCB layout and only some of the component values are changed so it ought to be pretty basic substitution.

By simply looking at the cards, one can identify which components are changed from one to the other; very likely, only the tuning caps are different. The one which does 20-200 has a set of caps which value must be 3 times those on the 60-600 card.
Anyway, populating all cards similarly to the one that does 20-200 should achieve your goal.

Thanks, that's what I had suspected!
