Anyone know of any schemo's for a quick & simple battery powered pre..or maybe wanna help a newbie screw one together? This is what I'm thinking:
2 channels, opamp based, enough gain to bring an SM58 up to line level, no coloration, clean as a whistle & quiet, runs on a couple of 9 volts, and has some level indication on it. Maybe like a green LED for level, a yellow for 6db short of clipping, and red for clipping...and small enough to cram into an altoids tin, soup can or something similar![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Any ideas?
