Hi I now own 2 TC2240 Parametric EQ's.
I love them a lot and would like to boost them a bit.
I have tried swapping the TL074's for the MC33079 but did not like it.
So what about upping the rail to rail voltage and swapping the TL074's for some TLE2074's or TLE2084's?
Upping the rail to rail voltage needs some reworking of the PSU.
Maybe even a new one.
And perhaps some Wima caps.
I got a HS version and a normal one. The only difference I could find between the 2 units is the frequency pots which are much stiffer / harder to dial on the HS.
The 1120 should be half the 2240.
The goal is slightly less noise and improve clarity.
Do you think this could work out? Any tips?
