Hi, I want to post a test of the new Chat GPT 4.0. Really interesting results reading schematics:

The question: What is a good Input/Output Transformer for this schematic....

Okaayyy, conclusion was SE and not PP.....thats not quite correct....it is a Federal 864 Compressor Schematic..
I think there will be jobs for electronics engineers for a long time to come... but it's interesting how Single Ended came to this conclusion...

Test the AI, it is funny. Ask for Components and their function in the schematics like in Microphones, if you would increase or decrease the values from Grid Resistors, Filters Caps....
Regards

Take into account ChatGPT is a "language" AI. It was never trained for designing schematics. In fact, it is quite remarkable it can produce something resembling a real schematic at all. That it's not up to the level of the gurus here, doesn't surprise me at all.

What it's doing with language is a lot better than Youtube's automatic translation, for instance. OK, OK, that's probably the worst one I could find. I admit Apple's "Translate" is way better. But due to Apple's notorious secrecy, I know very little about Translate. From Apple's investments in specialised software I can analyse a bit, but that's a very foggy window. In fact, I'm amazed how bad YT's effort is. Don't they get help from Google? Or has Google lost it's best brains?
