Time to sell some mics to offset that shiny new United Twin48 I just pre-ordered
Here's the deal, I typically spend at least an hour in all prepping each item I list for sale. I've got a bunch, so to save myself some time I'm going to do this in stages, where at each stage the listings get progressively more proper, and expensive. That's because I want to avoid the effort and sell as rapidly as possible, but as my effort level goes up the price will too.
Phase 2 starts now, prices added for all working mics. Not sure how to price the for parts mics so make offers on them. Offers welcome on others as well.
Phase 2 is probably about the final phase before they go up on Reverb, at which point they'll price accordingly. Still, selling here is my preference and gives me more price flexibility even after they go up there.
Mics
- [$700] Lewitt Pure Tube Studio Set - Pristine with all accessories and case
- [$450] Norelco (AKG) D24 - Just checked by Cole @ Cole's Vintage Picks, great working order, sounds amazing, visual condition shows age but not beat up
- [$650] Warm WA-47 modified by Chad at Signal Arts in 2024 (w/ Thomann Retro Tube II PSU modified by SA, Sommer cable, generic shockmount) - excellent condition
- [$900] Blue Blueberry, one of a kind factory modified with Bottle/bayonet mount for modular capsules, including B0 capsule, excellent condition w/ shockmount
- [$300] Blue Baby Bottle (Made in Latvia) - excellent sonic condition, fair physical condition (headbasket was dented so swapped it with SL / gold colored headbasket grill)
- [$200] Blue Bluebird (Made in USA) - Pristine in box, barely showing signs of use
Broken Mics / For Parts
- AKG D12E - Excellent physical condition, capsule shot, Sent to Cole's for repair, no dice: "The D12E was missing any wire off of the coil, so sadly it won't be fixable"
- AKG D12 - Excellent physical condition, capsule shot: "The other D12 had the coil rusted into the magnet and detached from the diaphragm which will also be unfixable"
- AKG C414 B TLII - Excellent physical condition but neither I or Richard @ Land Audio can get it working
