I bought some EQ `s low. Now I am looking for the schematics.
It is the MITSUBISHI QUAD EIGHT 4-BAND EQs 82041 and Trident TSM EQs CB9132.
Wieleicht knows what taking IC's Trident for the EQ's has used?

I don't know if you are going to find the Mitsubishi QE schematics. I have a pair of those too. I don't think I have seen those schematics anywhere. DW.

I found the schmeatics of all TSM modules (including the CB9132) while searching for the CB9139 mic/line module. You can find them in the files section of this yahoo group (you only need a yahoo account, joining of the group is possible without clearance of a moderator).

As far as I can see the EQ modules uses only TL071s.

I got my 82041 EQ's racked. I decided to convert the Unbalanced outs to balanced using the THAT1646 circuit - so that's where I am now.

Also, if anyone's racking these, I've found that this connector fits the one on the card (doesn't have the grooves) but seems to fit snug on its own...

Here are my Mitsubishi Quad Eight EQ’s. I am very pleased with how these sound. Maybe a little overkill but I wanted them in a portable rack so I made a backplane to keep the cards supported. All of the enclosure and internal plates are made of 1/8” aluminum fabricated from scratch using only woodworking tools. I picked up the aluminum sheet from the scrap bin of a local aluminum fabricating company for a very reasonable price. The angled aluminum is 3/4” x 3/4” from Home Depot. The fasteners are stainless steel. The xlr holes were made with a Greenlee 15/16” punch. The xlr connectors and labels are from Redco Audio. The cards can be removed from the front if they need servicing. Jim Keaney gave me some measurements and the connector information before I even received these EQ’s. Thanks Jim!! I used a Fivefish Audio PSU-2448 power supply and transformer kit. There is no hum at all. I also used Fivefish Audio’s FABModules FAB3346 Unbalanced to Balanced Line Driver Modules. Because the FAB3346’s add 6dB I made a couple of -6dB H-Pads. I had originally tried to use Molex connectors on the 16 pin EQ connector but that was very unreliable so I removed pins 8 to 15 on the “a” side of the connector (not used) and soldered 2 Phoenix 8 pin terminal blocks to a small piece of strip board. The screw fasteners of the Phoenix terminal blocks hold very tightly on the connector pins. This also allowed for very easy connection of the input, output and power supply wires. I used drawer pulls on the front of the enclosure and I can stand the unit on its face without the knobs touching anything. The rear is inset for the same reason. If internal servicing is required, the four screws on each of the side panels can be removed and the panels can slide out to the front or rear.
