Mk012 increased current.

I’m building a few large diaphragm mics with a mk012 circuit…. I got to wondering if ther would be any benefit / harm in changing the 13k resistors to something like 2k2 to give the transistors as much current as is available…

That would "help" reduce the voltage available for biasing the capsule, leading to WORSE signal-to-noise ratio.

And keep in mind that most LDC capsules like about 20v more polarization than what the MK-012 circuit provides.
