MK67 Internal Tube Switch

A couple month back I installed an EF86 in my Max Mod MK67. Until reading about the mod today, I didn't realize there was a switch inside marked PF67 and EF67. Does anyone know what this switch does?

Also, I think I have on the original batch of MK67's, but with the Moby transformer installed. Has anyone here installed the capacitor for "reissue mode"?

is that his later mod? If you have a decent transformer in there, you don't have any need for it unless you just want to make it super bright.
