Hello Group,

i plan to replace the opamps in my D&R4000 mkII.
It uses the JRC 4560D and two JRC2060D but i think the 4560 must be the opamp.

what did you recommend? AD797s are to expensive at the moment (SSL waits :wink: ) maybe the OP2134 or the NE5532 should work.
Im still a Newbie to those things :cry: so can you help me out?

no i dont.
i think there is to much noise, and maybe it sounds a bit better after changing the ops. maybe i could recap it....
or do you think its not a good idea?
 
no... I really dont think its a good idea...

if you really feel the need to attempt this then simply do one or two channels to see if theres any significant improvement... grounding schemes can also have alot to do with noise...
