So I have a broken Modutec meter for a 1176. Housing is still complete.
My question is if it is possible to take the Sifam AL29WF and put the front cover of the Modutec with the raised zero adjustment mechanism on it ?
Or worst case, take the inside of the Sifam and put in in the Modutec housing.
I really want to make the meter look original again and no believe me the original can't be repaired.

I think that isn't leto use the front cover of the Modutec on the Sifam.
It may be possible to fit the AL29 motor in the Modutec housing, but you will need to create some sort of holder for the motor because they are much different in size.. The Modutec motor is maybe 45mm in diameter & the AL29 is maybe 20mm in diameter. This could be quiet a tricky job because you need to line up the axle of the needle in exactly the right place ! Look at the Sifam data sheet and you will see what I mean https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/86340.pdf

It might be easier to stick a strip of black insulating tape on the Sifam meter & try to mount it in the Modutec panel mount.
