plug it in, no nuthin, start rippin screws out by hand,

don't wanna round anything off with a power drill setup,
ain't that caffeinated,

there might be a little dust on the transformer, but don't let that fool ya about what's inside,  ???

somebody got a deal on some circular opamps, and some flat capacitors,

pwr tube area, hefty screen resistors, and some caps on the tube sockets which usually mean that tone is being traded for stability of an amplifier,

we must investigate the schematic, because there are also some weird 10 ohm resistors in there, or maybe 1 ohm, in the cathode area, possibly a bias point thing,

hard to read schematic here>

what you can do is put an ammeter across these 10 ohm resistors so as to check current thru 1 tube on each side of the push-pull amp, this saves getting zapped when shunting the OPT pri to read current,

anyway, the plug on the end of the power chord had the hot and neutral wires dangling loosely the plastic so we stuck a new pwr cord on there which has a nice molded plug built in, never liked the bolt on plugs, they don't fit into power strips very well, and the cord always gets loose somehow,

10 ohm in red,  .001 tone robbers in green>

0.001uFd across the maybe 3K load impedance at the plates is 53KHz, down 1dB at 26KHz.

This is not robbing tone.

My experience with super amps is that they can suffer from RF oscillation, and such caps are sometimes essential.

Chord/cord - I'm guessing that was intentional  ;D ;D ;D
